We are Democrats outraged by the intellectual corruption within the party. Some of us are elected to the various County Committees in the five boroughs.
With thousands of vacant seats in New York City for Democrats, the County Committee system originally was designed to give ordinary citizens a voice in how out party operates; however, the system today is in a sad state of dysfunction, with most of the power going to a handful of party insiders.
Major decisions are made behind closed doors, and meaningful reforms are all too often subverted.
Our goal is to have as many activists as possible run in the district in which they live.
